手动安装VCS5.1

安装和配置VCS5.1

以下为2台服务器安装双机的例子。

将VCS5.1安装包上传至双机中任意一台文件服务器上并解压。

安装VCS5.1双机软件。

进入安装包解压缩目录下的“sles11_x86_64/cluster_server”目录。

使用./installvcs命令开始安装。开始安装时会显示版权信息和安装日志的存放路径。

程序询问是否同意“End User License Agreement (EULA)”，键入“y”继续。Do you agree with the terms of the End User License Agreement

as specified in the cluster_server/EULA//EULA_VCS_Ux_5.1SP1.pdf

选择需要安装的VCS RPM包，显示如下界面，键入“3”。1)  Install minimal required Veritas Cluster Server rpms - 274 MB required

2)  Install recommended Veritas Cluster Server rpms - 307 MB required

3)  Install all Veritas Cluster Server rpms - 341 MB required

4)  Display rpms to be installed for each option

Select the RPMs to be installed on all systems? [1-4,q,?](2) 3

填写两台服务器的机器名，中间以空格分开。Enter the 64 bit operating system system names separated by spaces:

安装程序检查系统状况，检查完毕后提示：

查看安装程序将安装的VCS rpm包列表，按“Enter”键继续，VCS开始安装rpm包，安装完毕后将提示：Veritas Cluster Server Install completed successfully

选择License类型，选择1，输入VCS5.1 License序列号。1) Enter a valid license key

2) Enable keyless licensing and complete system licensing later

询问是否配置VCS用户名和密码，默认用户名为“admin”，密码为“password”，键入“y”配置自定义用户名和密码，键入“n”使用默认的用户名和密码。Do you want to set the username and/or password for the Admin user

安装完成后请留意log file、summary file和response file的存放路径。这些文件可以提供有用的安装信息和帮助您配置VCS。

summary file：列出系统中安装的VCS RPM包

log file：提供安装过程中的全部细节

response file：记录双机中另一台文件服务器的安装信息

启动LLT和GAB

注意：

两台服务器都必须启动LLT和GAB服务。

启动LLT和GAB服务的顺序是先启动LLT再启动GAB，停止这两个服务的顺序是先停止GAB再停止LLT。

LLT和GAB服务是VCS双机系统的底层通信协议，如果这两个服务没有启动将导致双机无法启动。

配置双机前必须使两台服务器都启动LLT和GAB服务，默认情况下安装完双机软件就已经启动了这两个服务。请参考以下步骤检查是否已启动LLT和GAB服务。

执行以下命令进入LLT和GAB服务所在的目录。

# cd /etc/init.d

在两台服务器上执行./llt status命令查看LLT服务的状态。

若显示“LLT is not loaded”，则表示未启动LLT服务，输入./llt start命令启动该服务。

若显示“LLT is loaded and configured”，表示已经启动LLT服务。

在两台服务器上执行./gab status命令查看GAB服务的状态。

若显示“GAB is not loaded”，则表示未启动GAB服务，输入./gab start命令启动该服务。

若显示“GAB is loaded and configured”，表示已经启动GAB服务。

设置PATH环境变量

注意：

bin后面的是冒号而非分号，否则环境变量$PATH将被更改，导致系统命令不能执行。

输入vi /root/.bashrc命令，按“Enter”。

vi /root/.bashrc

在该文件中添加以下两行。

PATH=/opt/VRTSvcs/bin:$PATH

export PATH

执行以下命令，使设置生效。

source /root/.bashrc

安装图形界面工具

VCS安装完毕后需要安装附件“VCS5.1图形界面工具”文件夹中的“VCS_Cluster_Manager_Java_Console_5.1_for_Linux.rpm”安装包才能够访问图形界面。

将“VCS_Cluster_Manager_Java_Console_5.1_for_Linux.rpm”安装包拷贝到主备机上，在当前目录下执行以下命令即可：

rpm -Uvh VCS_Cluster_Manager_Java_Console_5.1_for_Linux.rpm
