PyMTerm是一个用Python编写的多标签终端模拟器，支持使用原生或OpenGL渲染。当OpenGL可用时会优先使用，否则回退到原生渲染。它依赖于paramiko、appdirs等库，提供了文件传输、历史记录滚动、搜索、选择、会话保存等功能，并支持本地pty（Windows下使用管道）。此外，还提供了用于SFTP文件上传和下载的命令行工具。
