优质的服务,宜人的环境,我们吃的意大利菜还可口但不正宗。
Good service, beautiful place, the food we had was rather good but not genuinely Italian.
We had two pizze: la diavola and margherita. They were above average in Asia but nothing exceptional. They could pass for Italian to someone with no direct knowledge of Italian gastronomy.
Why ? Dough just average. Mozzarella low-medium quality (a problem for the margherita! ~ no option to get buffalo mozzarella on it, that’s a bit shocking for an Italian restaurant).
We had one aperol spritz and one campari spritz. Gloablly ok but nothing exceptional, and it comes in rather small quantity for the price.
It escapes my understanding how a place that claims to serve Italian food can propose Hawaian pizza. The restaurant has chosen its side for the targetted market: it’s perfectly fine but it’s not my taste. It’s also perfectly understandable not to have a wood fire oven, but it’s a bit limiting for genuine pizza. A choice, again.
We didn’t have dessert, given what they look like on the menu we surmised it would be neither genuine nor great.
The service was, on the other hand, very good.
The staff speaks English. On the menu there is only Aperol spritz but they accepted to make a campari spritz without any difficulty. Service quick and effective.
The place is also very nice: outdoors terrace, and a lovely, romantic indoors space with several different spaces. The weather was warm, so the terrace was packed but the indoors space quasi-empty: perfect setting if you’re going for a quiet, romantic dinner!
