这几天想把杀毒软件换成Bitdefender，但是安装过程中要求系统安装的IE必须是最新版。之前从Windows 7升级到Windows 10，使用了几天感觉Win10还是不如Win7用的习惯，于是又从Win10回退到了Win7，这过程中也把我的IE从11恢复到了8。虽然不用IE浏览器，但是不升级到最新版，就不能用Bitdefender，那就升级吧。不想，这过程还遇到了点困难。
首先，从微软官方下载中文版的Internet Explorer 11 for Windows 7，下载后安装，提示“Internet Explorer未能完成安装”，根据提供的疑难解答，照着说明安装了更新以及其他依赖仍不能解决问题。
又查看了一下C:WindowsIE11_main.log这个安装日志，发现有一句错误提示：
ERROR: Neutral package installation failed (exit code = 0x800f081e (2148468766)).
用这句错误提示搜索了一下，发现了这个问题在superuser问答社区已经有一条提问，其中有条回答：
For those that may stumble across this looking for an answer...
Make sure Platform Update for Windows 7 SP1 and Server 2008 R2 SP1 (2670838) is installed. I had the same problem trying to upgrade to any version higher than IE9 until I installed the update.
虽然不是被采纳答案，但是尝试到微软下载并安装这个更新(32位系统下载x86那个，64位的下载x64那个)：
