下面是对小组的一些具体描述:

小组旨在促进需求分析,对象分析,对象设计,开发,测试和项目管理的技术和经验交流.小组以JAVA为主要编程语言,以JAVA相关技术为主要技术,设计规范以JAVA相关技术为主.代码标准以SUN的代码标准为中心.

小组组织:

每一个项目设立项目经理(PROJECT MANAGER),之下设立商务分析组(BUSINESS ANALYST GROUP),系统设计组(ARCHITECTURE DESIGN GROUP),和开发组(DEVELOPMENT GROUP).每一个成员可以参加多个小组,但如果自己时间不足,则必须通知其它成员,由他人接替部份工作.每个成员可以按个人兴趣报名参加小组.

开发环境

开发工具: JBuilder 5

单元测试: JUnit/JTest

源程序控制: CVS

系统设计: TogetherJ

文档工具: javadoc/TogetherJ

服务器: WebSphere Application Server 3.5 or above, WebLogic 6.0 or above.

数据库: DB2 6.1 or above, Oracle 8.0 or above, SQL Server 7.0 or above.

开发环境: Windows NT/2000

小组将申请建立讨论组,成立之后(如有困难则使用EMAIL),会和大家商量做什么项目.我现在有三个想法,也请大家推荐

Possible projects:

1. Build our own BBS

Requirements:

a. Allows upload/download of files from the web server through an HTTPS link

b. All connections are through HTTPS link with client side certificates, except registration page

c. All users have to logon to the forum every time through HTTPS

d. Provides common functionalities of a popular BBS (allows creation of topics, groups, provides management

abilities, etc). We can start with a simple group, and expand the functionality later on.

2. Web Indexing Service

Requirements:

a. Allows suppliers to register themselves on the web.

b. Allows suppliers to enter their information into our database (such as location, product info, pricing info)

c. Allows suppliers to import their information into our database (batch approach using

xml)

d. Allows consumers to get into our web page without login in.

e. Allows consumers to browse the content by categories, and find supplier information

f. Allows consumers to search for certain supplier, or certain product

g. Allows graphical display of supplier location.

3. Modelling Tool

Requirements:

a. Application should be web enabled

b. Allows users to create/modify/view a model.

c. Allows users to create a model from scratch, or using predefined components or templates

d. Allows concurrent model creation/modification/browsing

e. Each model consists of chips and links.

f. A chip is a component where operation logic is stored. Each chip has a certain

number of input nodes and output nodes.

Each input node is either connected or disconnected via links. For disconnected nodes, user can

define what the input value is (maybe random, or a fixed number).

g. A chip's operation logic has two forms:

1. Simple operation logic: logic specified using java code(or html(javascript)), customizable by users

at run time.

2. Embedded operation logic: logic is specified by embedded chips and links in the parent chip

h. Provide graphical interface for model creation/modification/browsing

i. Provide model simulation methods (given time interval, and input values, display outputs)

j. Provide ability to track outputs at certain nodes.

k. Provide ability to post certain output values to other applications using xml/JMS

l. Provide ability to create models with loopback at later versions.

m. Graphical interface should be easy to use, such as quick selection of chips,

ability to view internals of a chip (either simple logic or complex logic),

drag and drop abilities, etc.
