To decrease formwork waste and accelerate formwork construction, the computer aided form2work design system is designed and imp lemented based on secondary development ofObjectARX in Auto2CAD. The op timized configuration and shore / reshore design on formwork are included. The dynamic p ro2gramming algorithm is adop ted to calculate the op timum allocation of formwork. A semi2rigid jointmodelis p roposed for the design on shore of formwork. The computer aided design is used from formwork designscheme to final allocation drawing of detailed formwork dosage. The calculation sheet of formwork shore /reshore can be automatically outputted. The software can imp lement digitized construction for formworkp roject and further standardize and op timize formwork p roject design
