Install the driver for Nvidia GPU in Ubuntu16

Install with ppa:

1. Add source

   sudo add-apt-repository ppa:graphics-drivers/ppa

   sudo apt update

2. Search for the version of the driver which suit your GPU in Nvidia Website.

3. Search for the available version
   ubuntu-drivers devices

And then you will get things like:

driver   : nvidia-396 - third-party non-free
driver   : nvidia-418 - third-party free recommended
driver   : xserver-xorg-video-nouveau - distro free builtin
driver   : nvidia-415 - third-party free
driver   : nvidia-384 - third-party non-free
driver   : nvidia-390 - third-party non-free
driver   : nvidia-410 - third-party non-free
...

4. Install. Select the number of your own GPU. Mine is 418.
   sudo apt install nvidia-418

5. Reboot
