On the first dancing party, Mrs Bennet’s new neighbour Mr. Bingly, a rich single man, have a good opinion on Miss Jane. So Mrs Bennet is very happy. And Mr. Darcy, Bingley’s good friend, is a more rich and handsome man. So he attracts many girls. But he is very proud. He thinks the girls on the party is not qualified to dance with him. And he also evaluates Elizabeth’s looks, he say that Elizabeth is not beautiful enough to dance with him. So the Elizabeth is very angry. And She also don’t ignore him.
But soon, Mr. Darcy is attracted by her lively and lovely manner. So on the other dancing party, Mr.Darcy invites Miss Elizabeth to dance. And Elizabeth agree. After that, Darcy gradually changed his mind on Elizabeth.
Bingly’s sister, Caroline was determined to marry Darcy, but Darcy has always been cold to her. Although Darcy look up to Elizabeth, but he can’t stand the bad manners of her mother’s and sisters’. He worries about Jane does not truly love Bingly. So he persuades Bengley to give up marrying Jane. So Mr. Bingly go back to London.
Mr. Bennet does have a son, but follow the law, the property of the Bennet’s family can only be inherited by men. So his daughters can only get five thousand pounds. So his wealth will be inherited by his distant relative, Collins. Collins is not a good man. When he proposed to Elizabeth but was rejected, he immediately married her close friend Charlotte, which also brought a lot of troubles to Elizabeth.
There is a handsome young officer Wickham nearby town, everyone praised him, and Elizabeth have a good opinion on him. But he cheats Elizabeth and slander Mr. Darcy. After that Elisabeth hate Mr. Darcy more.
The Collins invite Elizabeth to their home, where she meets Mrs Catherine, Darcy's aunt, and is invited to visit her Rosings heights. Soon, Elizabeth sees Darcy who comes there for Easter. Darcy can not restrain his affection for Elizabeth and propose to her, but his attitude is still so proud. In addition, Elizabeth has a serious prejudice against him before, so she firmly refused his proposal. This blow makes Darcy realize time the bad consequences of pride for the first. He left her painfully, leaving a long letter to explain: he admits that Bentley's leaving without saying goodbye is driven by him, because he is dissatisfied with the frivolity and vulgarity of Mrs. Bennet and Miss Bennet (excluding Jane and Elizabeth), and he thinks that Jane is not really fall in love with Mr Bentley; Wickham's story is full of lies. The fact is that Wickham himself squandered the heritage and tried to seduce Darcy's sister Georgiana to elope. After reading the letter, Elizabeth is very regretful. She feels guilty for not only blaming Darcy, but also for her mother's and sister's behavior[1].
The next summer, Elizabeth comes to Pemberley, the estate of Darcy with her uncle and aunt. At the door of the housekeeper, she learns that Darcy is very respected in the local area and loves his sister Georgiana very much. Elizabeth meets Darcy, who has just arrived in the woods, and finds that his attitude had changed greatly, and he is polite to her uncle and mother, and gradually her prejudice against him has been eliminated.
At the same time, Elizabeth receives a letter from her family saying that little sister Lydia had eloped with Wickham, who is heavily in gambling debt. Elizabeth was so embarrassed by this kind of domestic ugliness that she thought Darcy would look down up her even more. But when Darcy gets the news, he finds a way to solve the problem for her. He not only paid Wickham's gambling debts, but also pays him a huge sum of money to marry Lydia. Since then, Elizabeth's previous prejudices against Darcy have been transformed into sincere love.
Bingly and Jane, after some twists and turns, have made up their minds. Lady Catherine, who wants her daughter to marry Darcy, hurry to ask Elizabeth to promise not to marry Darcy. Elizabeth refuses the unreasonable request. Darcy hears that. He knows that Elizabeth have changed her mind, proposes to her again sincerely. Here, a couple of lovers who have delayed their marriage because of pride and prejudice are married.

2.Character
The author is based on the character of the people, describes the process of different characters from love to marriage. The typical ones are:Mr. Darcy and Miss Elizabeth; Mr. Bingly and Miss Jane; Mr. Wickham and Miss Lydia; Mr Collins and Miss Lucas. The four love stories reflect the attitudes of different characters towards love and marriage. They represent a certain kind of people.

2.1The characters of the Mr. Darcy and Miss Elizabeth
Mr. Darcy is an proud, unspeakable, and impersonal person. But he is totally a good man. He is proud because he has been living in the aristocracy since he was a child and has developed proud character. He doesn't speak well and pretends to be indifferent because he doesn't know how to get along with people of the civilian class. But when he failed to propose for the first time, he realized his proud and put it down for love.
Miss Elizabeth is a rational and independent woman. But she also has shortcomings. Her stereotype is very deep. When he first met Mr. Darcy, he had a serious prejudice against him. It also led her to listen to Mr. Wickham's lies. The prejudice against Mr. Darcy is even more serious. So that the first marriage proposal later failed. Later, through a letter from Darcy, she slowly put down her prejudice.    There is a similarity in their personalities, that is, they do not know how to get along with each other. But because of their personality mutual attraction. At last, Mr. Darcy let go of her arrogance, Miss Elizabeth let go of her prejudice and fell in love with each other.

2.2The characters of the Mr. Bingly and Miss Jane
Mr. Bingly is an sensitive person, and he is also a very kind person. His sensibility is that when he first met Jane at the dance, he liked Jane immediately. He just like Jane sensitively, without considering any other aspects,Until Mr. Darcy persuaded him, Jane probably didn't really like him,He leaves the town. Mr. Bingly is also a kind person. He is not a bit proud and easygoing. Although he is a noble, he is a member of the common people.
Miss Jane is also a sensitive person, and she is also a very kind person. She also fell in love with Mr. bingly at the ball, and she is very easygoing and thinks that people were always kind.
So the two good man get married, but their Marry is also not perfect. Because of their generosity, they will not make ends meet.

2.3The characters of the Mr. Wickham and Miss Lydia
Mr Wickham is the villain in the movie. He is a frivolous and playful man. He's done a lot of nasty things. But he has his end.
Miss Lydia is an impetuous and vain person. She spent a long time reading books, but she didn't understand the contents of the books deeply, just wanted to win others' praise. It is the same on her marriage. She wants to have a handsome husband. So when Mr. Wickham was about to elope with him, he eloped with him without hesitation.
Finally, there is a scene about Mr. Wickham and Miss Lydia. Wickham is sitting by the bed, his wife smiles triumphantly, and then Wickham also smiles. When she looks back, she shows her helpless face. Such a frivolous person, but now there is a marriage to him firmly bound, or some people think that the little girl was cheated, but perhaps, in this marriage, she just needs a handsome man? I just thought at that time, in fact, he is not a villain in a strict sense. He likes to flatter women, flatter women and protect himself, but in fact, it is not heinous.

2.4The characters of the Mr Collins and Miss Lucas
Mr. Collins is not a Bad guy. He just always thinks about his own interests. So after he failed to propose to Elizabeth, he immediately proposed to her close friend Lucas and married her.
Miss Lucas is also a businessman, because she is older and not very outstanding, so when Collins proposed to her, she agreed.
So the two person get married.

3.Conclusion
Everyone can meet the right people.
