mysql>  set  password  for  root@localhost  =  password('123');

语句修改root密码，出现错误提示如下

不解，遂采用

mysql> ALTER USER 'root'@'localhost' IDENTIFIED BY '12345678';

mysql> ALTER USER 'root'@'localhost' IDENTIFIED BY '12345678';

经测试使用

SET PASSWORD = '123';

也是OK的

mysql> SET PASSWORD = '123';
Query OK, 0 rows affected (0.14 sec)
