Write about the following topic:

Many museums charge for admission while others are free.

Do you think the advantages of charging people for admission to museums outweigh the disadvantages?

People have different views about whether visitors should pay for their admission to the museum or not, while more and more museums are choosing to cancel it. But I absolutely believe that people should continue to pay for their tickets to the museum, and this will benefit us all.

There are several reasons why the free entrance of the museum should be stopped. I think the most significant problem is that this will attract more and more people to come to visit, especially during the pandemic, which is spreading all over the world, which could be extremely dangerous for everyone, even for the whole country. From the perspective of probability, as the number of visitors grows, the risk of loss and destruction of the collections of the museum will grow at the same time. Secondly, without the visitors’ payment, the museum could hardly balance their income and expenditure. Furthermore, they would lack funds to maintain various facilities and services.

However, setting a reasonable price for the entrance tickets could increase their income. Meanwhile, there can be better more exhibitions or more fascinating activities to show their deep and historic holdings to all folks of life. Additionally, people would have more identity and respect for those cultural relics. Likewise, fees could also weed out any casual museum-goers and ensure that people who attend the museums care about what they are viewing.

In conclusion, there’s no doubt that museums should charge an admission fee in order to better protect and reflect the importance of history and culture.
