在安装Spring IDE AJDT Integration时遇到了与EclEmma和Java Development Tools的依赖冲突。解决方法是找到与eclipse Mars 4.5.0匹配的STS版本，并从官网下载正确更新站点地址进行安装。在解决依赖问题后，安装Spring IDE AOP Extension时又发现缺失org.json库。通过勾选联网选项安装解决了问题。虽然启动时Spring IDE未在欢迎界面显示，但在preferences中存在，表明安装成功。
