外部表目录举例：
(1)使用scott用户登录
SQL> conn scott/oracle
已连接。
(2)使用scott用户创建目录
SQL> create directory scott_dir as 'd:\data';
create directory scott_dir as 'd:\data'
*
第 1 行出现错误:
ORA-01031: 权限不足
(3)使用sysdba权限登录
SQL> conn / as sysdba
已连接。
(4)授予soctt用户create directory权限
SQL> grant create any directory to scott;

授权成功。
(5)以scott登录并创建目录
SQL> conn scott/oracle
已连接。
SQL> create directory scott_dir as 'd:\data';

目录已创建。
(6)授权读写
SQL> grant read on directory scott_dir to public;

授权成功。

SQL> grant write on directory scott_dir to hr;

授权成功。
(6)查询目录视图
SQL> select * from all_directories where directory_name='SCOTT_DIR';
OWNER      DIRECTORY_NAME                 DIRECTORY_PATH
---------- ------------------------------ ----------------------
SYS        SCOTT_DIR                      d:\data
(7)删除目录scott_dir
SQL> drop directory scott_dir;
drop directory scott_dir
*
第 1 行出现错误:
ORA-01031: 权限不足
(8)使用sysdba登录删除，目录scott_dir
SQL> conn / as sysdba
已连接。
SQL> drop directory scott_dir;

目录已删除。
