The connection to adb is down, and a severe error has occured.
You must restart adb and Eclipse.

Please ensure that adb is correctly located at 'D:\xxx\platform-tools\adb.exe' and can be executed.

相信很多童鞋经常碰到这个问题，而且网上的解决方案很多都是什么要把豌豆荚关掉啊，把tools中的文件全部复制到platform-tools中之类的，我试了很多次，都不行！时好时坏，简直郁闷todie！有个童鞋说，肯定是我没有把platform-tools加入环境变量的PATH里面，可是我加了，在命令行里输入adb也有反应了，这说明这个路径下的adb.exe是存在的，能执行的啊。

某一天我看着任务管理器里面的adb.exe，忽然想到看看它到底是哪里冒出来的，于是，点击查看菜单->选择列，选中映像路径名称，然后找到adb.exe对应的路径，原来路径竟然是D:\Program Files\Genymobile\Genymotion\tools\adb.exe，不是Android sdk下面的，怪不得说是The connection to adb is down。

这下好了，启动genymotion，选择Settings,选中ADB，修改ADB tool connection settings为Use custom Android SDK tools，并选择本机的Android SDK目录，待下面显示Android SDK tools found successfully就ok了。
