In this period, they visited many important persons such as SherifSalim (chairman of general bureau of international exhibition and expo in Egypt), Adel Rabbibu (governor ofAlexander province), Tariko Erkey (the speaker), commercial counselor of Chinese Embassy in Egypt, consul general of Chinese Consulate in Alexander . They had meetings with Egypt enterprises association, representatives from industry and business, and Egyptian businessmen respectively . Chen introduced in detail Yiwu market and major fairs such as Yiwu Fair, Tourist Fair, Forest Fair and Cultural Fair . She also presented the African Street Project which is being built in Yiwu .

Alexander wants to build a “Yiwu City” Alexander, the second largest city in Egypt and Africa, is the transportation and industrial center in Egypt . When visiting Adel Rabbibu, Chen said that Yiwu and Egypt has had close economical and trade relationship. There are over 1500 resident Egyptian businessmen and 62 representative offices in Yiwu, and in 2008 Yiwu exported $ 20-million dollars commodities to Egypt . Chen invited Adel Rabbibu to participate in Yiwu Fair for the exchange ofeconomy and trade . He said happily that last December Tariko Erkey went to Yiwu and Yiwu was full of charm and experience for them to learn. Alexander Port has good conditions and they want to build a commodity center there . IfYiwu is willing to construct jointly, Alexander will provide for free the best location. Adel said he would visit Yiwu when convenient .

Egyptian enterprises desire to Yiwu Chen Xiuxian group and the Alexander Industrial and Commercial Association hold a meeting on the morning ofAugust 17 . She introduced that Yiwu market boasts of 1.7 million kinds ofgoods, exported to 210 countries and regions in the world . She said ifone stops for 3 minutes in front of every shop, it will take 16
months to cover all the 62, 000 shops in the market . This promotion triggered praises from the Egyptian enterprisers . She also presented Yiwu exhibition industry and the construction project of African Street . Tariko Erkey and over 20 enterprisers had another round ofmeeting with Yiwu representatives that evening, mainly on how to organize group to participate in the Yiwu fairs, how to settle in the African Street .

Many Egyptian companies are very willing to settle in the Street to feel the real market . Fatara, chairman ofAlexander Business Association, deals in supermarket, and he purchased Yiwu commodities with value ofmore than 40 million yuan through agency . This year he will further research Yiwu market in this Yiwu Fair .
