- Cookies are packets of information send by the website to your browser.
- Cookies are stored by browser on user's HDD/SSD
- A cookie is a piece of data. It can be used to record your preferences, your browsing activities, track you browsing history, remember you credit card number and password, etc. so that the website can recommend the possible goods that you likely to buy, you do not need to re-enter your credit card number and password in future.
