Android ADT 安装报错 Eclipse 3.5.2 on Linux Ubuntu 10.04

 

Encounter the error when I install Android ADT plugin, search and try a long time find the way to fix it.

Cannot complete the install because one or more required items could not be found.
  Software being installed: Android DDMS 18.0.0.v201203301601-306762

Ignore below, this should use Eclipse version beyond 3.6.2 or 3.7.

 

1. First, I use Eclipse 3.5.2 on Linux, need a plugin.

you should install a special plugin for each version -- https://developers.google.com/eclipse/docs/getting_started

Help->Install New Software->add,       "http://dl.google.com/eclipse/plugin/3.5"        for Eclipse 3.5.2

2. Note, if you are behind a firewall, should config proxy, window->Preferences->Network Connections , check right tag,  select Native-> edit Http Host and Port,

without username and password

3. Continue to install ADT plugin in http://developer.android.com/sdk/eclipse-adt.html#installing

Help->Install New Software->add
