Start qemu/kvm in network bridge

0 Preface

   You have finished the configure on host.

1 start the virtual-machine

sudo qemu-system-x86_64 -m 1204 -hda /home/xzl/virtual_machine/ubuntu-12.04-amd64-test.img -localtime -net nic,vlan=0,macaddr=52-54-00-12-34-4,model=virtio -net tap,vlan=0,ifname=tap1,script=no -boot c -smp 2

-m the size of memory
-hda the img file
-locatime make the time is correct which is not necessary
-net  the network parameter. 
      net device tap0 must have been created on host.
      the address should be unique setted by you.
         

-boot  boot from hard disk
-smp the number of processors

2 configure network on guest

   

sudo vim /etc/network/interfaces

   edit it

auto lo
iface lo inet loopback

auto eth0
iface eth0 inet static
address 192.168.3.159
netmask 255.255.255.0
gateway 192.168.3.215
dns-nameservers 202.114.0.242

3 restart network on guest

sudo /etc/init.d/networking restart

4 then 

ping www.baidu.com
