Given a binary tree, find its minimum depth.
The minimum depth is the number of nodes along the shortest path from the root node down to the nearest leaf node.
Note: A leaf is a node with no children.
Example:
Given binary tree [3,9,20,null,null,15,7]
,
3
/ \
9 20
/ \
15 7
return its minimum depth = 2.
因为leaf node的左右子树都是None,所以递归到leaf node的时候就不能继续递归下去了
但是不影响递归的套路
# Definition for a binary tree node.
class Solution:
def minDepth(self, root):
"""
:type root: TreeNode
:rtype: int
"""
if not root: return 0
if not root.left: return 1+self.minDepth(root.right)
if not root.right: return 1+self.minDepth(root.left)
return 1+min(self.minDepth(root.left), self.minDepth(root.right))
