FC6下运行Desktop Effects ，需要更新驱动，并打开3d开关

    昨天在网上看到了Desktop Effects的效果图  很漂亮，于是想看看自己的，于是在System->Preferences->DeskTop Effects,点击Enable Desktop Effects。  结果失败！ 说不支持云云。难道是显卡太差了。PS： 我的是5200，确实不怎么样。

    在fedorafaq.org 首页看到了这个：

    和
    How do I enable 3D support for my nVidia graphics card in Fedora?

     我当然是按照nvidia的这个来做拉。 

1. Make sure that you're using my yum configuration from the installing software question.
2. Open a Terminal.
3. Become root:

   su -

4. Install the driver:

   yum install kmod-nvidia

5. Shut down X:

   init 3

6. Log in as root.
7. Enable the driver:

   nvidia-config-display enable

8. Restart X:

   init 5

    其中1说的就是 rpm -Uvh http://www.fedorafaq.org/yum http://rpm.livna.org/livna-release-6.rpm  估计大家都做过了。

    第八步，重启  在进入xwindow界面前一瞬间看到了漂亮的nVidia LOGO.

    System->Preferences->DeskTop Effects    运行 Desktop Effect   点Enable  然后keep settings 

    现在再看看我的xwindow  太漂亮了 ！！！

    还有漂亮的菜单和窗口抖动，看图片没感觉，大家试试就知道了。
