第三天——第一堂课

Today it’s my first day which I will study in EF School officially, also my lessons (well, lesson, today I only have one course) start at 8:40, so I got up at 7 too.

I’m quite excited today as it’s my first official day which I will study in EF School. So I ate breakfast quickly (also my baking skill is improving…), and then went to school.

Today’s situation is quite, quite, well, urgent. Because of an emergency, I arrived at school at 8:30, and I just reached the classroom at 8:38. That’s lucky that I got the attendance.

Today, I have a piece of good news that I can just get the direction (although sometimes I still look at the map, but my sense is becoming better~).

When I got the classroom, I was shocked because I used to think that we will start the lesson from Unit 1 and others will be new students, too, but the reality is the unit is 7 now and my level will be rising to Advanced 3 in a week or 2 weeks (is that good news or bad news?).

The old (who have studied the course) students did the presentation of American Slang and I could only understand approximately 40% of them (it’s said that they took the class in the iLab but I don’t even have an iLab class… Does that mean I will never be able to know what they’re talking about when they’re doing the presentation? My god!!)

I also found that there are some students who are absent and the teacher is not surprised (it’s like a university!!).

When I was having the class, I found the vocabularies are really hard. I only knew about 70% of them. Sometimes I even couldn’t understand the meaning of the sentence. 

That’s terrible, but I think maybe sometime later I will get used to it and feel better…Tonight, I have dinner and I found rice again. Our menu is: rice, broccoli and burger (here it means 肉丸). It tastes good, ha~

In the evening, I went out for laundry and I found so many washing machines there. There were almost half of a hundred washing machines there, and also about half of a hundred drying machines there. Although it’s quite noisy there, and I had to wait for 1 hour, it was a great time there. I learnt Spanish there, and my roommate was my teacher, ha~

Then, I am back and writing this diary… Tomorrow I have courses at 11 so maybe today I can have a good night’s sleep.
