A Development Machine Installation

To setup a development machine, what softwares and tools should you install?
Formally, you always need install Visual Studio(VS Team Suit Edition is a good choice, it includes somes Test tools).
Except that, the following tools are neccessary for a windows developer:

2.Application Verifier
What can Appvrf do?
