At first use command ulimit -n 65533 set max file descriptor server can open in same time is 65533

Edit tomcat configuration file
1.add tomcat6 response pool：

edit {CATALINA_HOME}/conf/server.xml

deactive

and add

maxThreads=”5000″ minSpareThreads=”1000″ maxSpareThreads=”4000″
enableLookups=”false” acceptCount=”3500″
compression=”on” compressionMinSize=”2048″
compressableMimeType=”text/html,text/xml,text/javascript,text/css,text/plain”
connectionTimeout=”60000″ disableUploadTimeout=”true” debug=”0″ URIEncoding=”UTF-8″/>

Notice: we add response thread number, add transmit after compress model, modify timeout value, deactive debug model

2.give tomcat more memory：

edit {CATALINA_HOME}/bin/catalina.sh, add to the top of catalina.sh file like this:

export JAVA_OPTS=”-server-Xms1400m-Xmx1400m-XX:PermSize=256m-XX:MaxNewSize=256m-XX:MaxPermSize=256m”
