Linxux下最强大的媒体播放软件－MPlyaer！本文详细地描述了tar安装的整个过程，包括各种文件格式的支持，For Firefox的插件安装，解决了新浪宽频的观看问题。
忙了一个晚上总算没白忙，Mplayer终于在机子上又安家落户了，但有一点遗憾，没有装GUI，但这已经足够了。


归正题！

一 Mplayer的安装就不说了，linuxsir.org中有相关主题。
二 让Mplayer支持在线播放。
有一个Media****的扩展，可以解决，但问题多多 。另一种方法就是安装mplayer－plugin,经本人试用 ，可完美支持Firefox。
步骤如下：
1 安装Flash插件。 可直接登录www.sina.com，就可直接弹出一窗口，安装就是了（请注意标签页下方的黄条）。
2 安装JAVA虚拟机 。可从发行版中安装（建议重装系统的话把JAVA选中 ，以后就不麻烦了，比如LumaQQ也要用到JAVA），或到 www.sun.com下载jre-1_5_0-linux -i586-rpm.bin并安装。(为可执行文件，执行./jre-1_5_0- linux-i586-rpm.bin）
3 .安装mplayerplug-in
可在http://mplayerplug- in.sourceforge.net/download.php下载对应的软件包.（页面上有帮助文件，http:/ /mplayerplug- in.sourceforge.net/install.php E文不好的兄弟可使用Google的翻译功能。
如若安装编译成功就可将生成的so文件文件拷贝到Firefox的 plugins目录，xpt文件拷贝到component目录中 。（视具体情况而定，一般是在/usr/lib/firefox下 ),然后将so文件和xpt文件一起放入 ~/.mozilla/plugins 下。
最后，进入mplayerplug-in/po, make install.
4 添加流媒体支持。
在地址栏中输入about:config,在出现的界面空白处点右 键，新建"字符串",在弹出的框中输入network.protocol -handler.app.rtsp，回车。
在值项中输入realplay的路径（如果mplayer支持rm 的话也可添写mplayer的路径）。
再新建一"字符串"，值项为network.protocol-handler.app.mms,值为mplayer的路径。
现在基本上装完了，大家看一下我的about:plugins:

     看到什么了？什么也没看到! 播放窗口没了！怎么办呢，总不能不看吧，呵，山人自有妙计。
    可使用另外一个扩展 Greasemonkey，可以在http://greasemonkey.mozdev.org 下载到。安装好之后并重启Firefox。                       再从http://forums.mozine.org论坛的greasemonkey专区中下载一个"观看新浪的在线视频"的脚本，并将其装入greasemonkey中。（将下载到的包解开之后，用Firefox打开这时就可弹出安装提示条，安装即可）我们可在可在工具栏中修改相应选项。n
 现在再去sina.com看看，可爱的播放窗口是不是出来了？？
