OPatch cannot process overlay patches because of no OUI support

OPATCH_JAVA_ERROR=CheckConflict: OPatch cannot process overlay patches because of no OUI support.  Please take latest OUI 10.1 patchset from "My Oracle Support" and try again

How to patch OUI for installing overlay patches on top of Forms Bundle Patch - 9593176 (Doc ID 1301320.1)

Cannot Apply Patch: OPATCH_JAVA_ERROR=CheckConflict (Doc ID 1544470.1)

1. While installing patch 6640838, on the Available product components page, select the checkbox to show all components including required dependencies.

2. Now drill down and choose all the OUI components for reinstall.  Ensure the following are selected:

i) Oracle Universal Installer
ii) Installer SDK Component                          -------------------------------------------reinstall

NOTE: The readme says to select these two components:

       i) Oracle Universal Installer
       ii) Installer SDK Component

• "Installer SDK Component" can be selected in install UI.
  • Select "Available Product Component" screen
  • Mark the checkbox  as selected
  • "Show all components, including required dependencies"
  • The "Installer SDK Component" can be selected

. On the "Available Product Components" page, check the "Show all components, including required dependencies" checkbox.
10.  Under "Oracle Universal Installer 10.1.0.6.0" -> "Required Dependencies" ->

Click on "Installer SDK Component 10.1.0.6.0".

This will automatically select the other two instances of this option.
