Linux字体问题

Chinese font is always a problem in my Linux, every time I install a brand new Linux, dealing with font kills my time. Therefore, I will list the font problems encountered in this thread.

 

1. system font

I am using gnome, the system font can be modified in system->preference->appearance

then, under theme choose customize.

 

2. firefox font

select the simplified chinese first, then choose your chinese font and character encoding.

 

3. title bar font

Because I am using compiz to manage my desktop, the Emerald themer manager is in charge of the title bar font.
