what are top , ps , kill command?what do they do?
firstly , i wanna say about top. top can help us to find what tasks that are running in our system,it will show us what tasks are running, how many tasks system has,how many tasks are sleeping, the usage of RAM,the usage of VIRTUAL MEMORY,the pid user mem usage cpu usage command orderd by resource usage.
secondly, talk about ps. ps equals process.it's usage is ps [aux], if we have no aux added to it,we get only the running process, if we do,we get all the process in our system.
finally, turn to the kill.sometimes we may meet the situation that we can not close some application like broswer.we can get the browser pid ,and use kill <pid> to close it nicely , but if it does not make it ,we can use kill -9 <pid> to give the process a sledge hammer.
LEARNING IS COOL!
