Carmel 6000 is the flagship program of HILMA which is a nonprofit Israeli organization.
We develop technological solutions and apps in the domains of welfare, education, and health, for large populations with an emphasis on disadvantaged populations and people with disabilities. Our goal is to provide innovative and applicable solutions for social organizations and disadvantaged groups while maintaining a self-sustainable business model. In cooperation with AMIT, an Israeli public school network, we envisioned to make Israel a leader in the development of social tech solutions.
为了实现可持续的模式我们需要找到能够长期为这一社会阶层服务的有才华的年轻人。这样才能让我们有能力提供高质量的产品和这些人群所需的支持。我们发现以色列就有很多这样的年轻人在国民服务局(一项政府计划)服务。我们便尝试与其合作,而它们也热情的认可并支持我们的理念。
In order to realize our self sustainable model, we need to find young, talented people willing to dedicate themselves to serving this segment of the society. We discovered that many such young people exist in Israel and serve in the National Service, a governmental program that has enthusiastically pledged support for our work.
在如今的科技创新中,产品科创与社会服务创新存在很大的断层。针对弱势人群的科技创新更是少之又少。我们认为这是一个让我们犹太人带头给世界以积极影响的机会。
Nowadays the innovation in business products far exceeds the innovation of social services. And the innovation to benefit disadvantaged people is lacking ,too. We believe that this is an opportunity for the Jewish people to take the initiative and impact the world in a positive way.

该计划会见了几个非政府组织机构的领导以及特殊需求学校的工作人员,并询问他们对卡梅尔6000可能解决的需求。会面的收获颇丰,我们得到了20余组项目计划,其中多项具有世界级的潜力。
Our program has met with leaders of NGOs and faculty at schools with students of special needs and inquired about problems that we could address. The results of the meeting was plentiful, we acquired a portfolio of 20+ projects, and some of which have the potential to be world class projects.
