linux中升级python

RHEL 5.4 版本默认安装了Python 2.4.3 ，因为学习环境需要Python 2.5。

升级步骤：

1．下载源代码 http://www.python.org/ftp/python/2.5.2/Python-2.5.2.tar.bz2
2．  安装
　   $ bzip2 -d Python-2.5.2.tar.bz2
       $ tar  -xvf Python-2.5.2.tar


       $ mv Python-2.5.2  /usr/local/
       $ cd Python-2.5.2
　   $ ./configure
　   $ make
　   $ make install

3. 测试

如果直接在命令行下输入python，仍出现的是 Python 2.4.3解释器。　    
显示结果：
　　
        # python
　　Python 2.4.3 (#1, Dec 11 2006, 11:38:52)
　　[GCC 4.1.1 20061130 (Red Hat 4.1.1-43)] on linux2
　　Type “help”, “copyright”, “credits” or “license” for more information.
　　>>>
　　解决办法：
　　#cd /usr/bin
　　#ll |grep python   //查看该目录下python
　　#rm -rf python
　　#ln -s  /usr/local/Python-2.5.2/python ./python  //软链接
　   # python
　　Python 2.5 (r25:51908, Aug  9 2010, 00:10:31)
        [GCC 4.1.2 20080704 (Red Hat 4.1.2-46)] on linux2
        Type "help", "copyright", "credits" or "license" for more information.
