System Overview

The Dash Logger offers extensive possibilities to integrate with ECUs, peripheral devices and accessories to form a complete solution that powers, controls, logs, monitors and communicates virtually any automotive parameter.

赛道记录仪与ECU和外围设备协同工作，能够显示，控制，记录，交互几乎任何赛道上的参数。

 

Typical devices used with the Dash Logger

ECU	CDL3能够与所有MOTEC ECU，并与部分其他厂商ECU通过CAN，RS232或者OBD-II（车载检测程序接口）连接。一般的传输速率，RS232一秒20次，CAN一秒50次，OBD-II少些。
传感器	DL有一些可选的输入接口，可以用于连接很多种传感器。不同的传感器一般有一些典型的信号特征，CDL就根据这些特征来读数据。 *使用传感器接口需要使能#29500 CDL3 12 I/O升级（？）
其他设备	接收机，用于计圈 GPS 换档灯
远程显示	可以用远程显示设备与CDL3相连，显示CDL3中的各种数据 *MDD display

Software Install

官网下载Dash Manager和i2安装包。注意Dash Manager如果没有装到默认路径，打开的时候会让选择主文件（Master file），在安装路径里的Channel文件夹里找。

 

Configuration

CDL3的配置有三方面：连接，计算，功能

配置文件会保存成一个文件，写进CDL3里。这个配置文件的历史版本会保存在Save Backups目录下，可以保存100份。

通道Channel

通道是CDL3功能使用接收到的数据的方式。

For example an input pin may feed a channel called ‘Fuel Pressure’. This channel may then be used by another system, such as the Display System or Data Logging systems

例如，一个引脚对应油压通道，这个通道能够被用于其他子系统如显示系统和数据记录系统。

通道的概念使得CDL3采集到的数据，可以经过定制之后，被所有功能使用。通道里的数据还能够输入一个表，转换成另一个数据，成为一个新通道。

通信设置

设置输入

设置输入引脚接收的信号通道，进行电压（或电阻等）到数据（速度，温度等）的转换，和输出引脚的输出。很简单，直接放原文

On the Connections menu, click Devices

Select the device (e.g. CDL3) and then click the Input Pins tab This will list all inputs available for this product

Select the input and click Channel (or double-click the input)

Assign a measurement channel to the input and click OK

The channel needs to be calibrated using one of two options:

Select Load Cal if a pre-defined calibration is available

OR

Double-click the input to enter a calibration

Other tasks:

• Change Cal – to change the calibration

• Spd Levels – only for speed inputs

• Settings – to set default

设置通信协议

1. On the Connections menu, click Communications

2. Select an available communications section (CAN or RS232)

3. Click Select and choose one of the available communications templates

*适配新协议需要更新软件

 

计算配置

通过通道信号计算数据，圈速，实际速度，最高速，油量等

 

功能选项配置

记录功能	配置哪些通道采样，采样速率，记录开启或关闭
显示功能	仪表显示，各区显示哪个通道的配置

*大概读了一下手册。以后上手了再更新实验记录
