认识 Protocol buffers

背景

Protocol buffers are Google's language-neutral, platform-neutral, extensible mechanism for serializing structured data – think XML, but smaller, faster, and simpler. You define how you want your data to be structured once, then you can use special generated source code to easily write and read your structured data to and from a variety of data streams and using a variety of languages.

Protocol buffers 是google开发的一种数据描述语言，类似于 XML 能够将结构化数据序列化，可用于数据存储、通信协议等方面。相比于现在流行的 XML 以及 JSON 格式存储数据，通过 Protocol Buffers 来定义的文件体积更小，解析速度更快
