HTML的的概念

HTML是一种超文本标记语言，注意，不是编程语言，而是一种标记语言，它含有一套标记标签，使用这些标记标签来描述网页

The first tag in a tag pair is the start tag, the second tag is the end tag
Start and end tags are also known as open and closed tags

HTML document = web page

HTML document describes web page
HTML document includes HTML tags and plain text
HTML document is also known as web page

The role of a Web browser is to read HTML documents and display them as Web pages.
Instead of displaying HTML tags, the browser uses them to interpret the content of the page:

Interpretation
- The text between <HTML> and </HTML> describes web page.
- The text between <body> and </body> is the visible page content.
- The text between <h1> and </h1> is displayed as title.
- The text between <p> and </p> is displayed paragraph.
