Six degrees of freedom (6DoF) refers to six independent motions of a rigid body in 3D space, they are three translations along axes {x, y,z} and three rotations around axes {Rx, Ry, Rz}. 6DoF is a fundamental concept for mechanical, aeronautical and robotics engineering.
This Demonstrations let you interactive control a model with 6DoF, or you can choice the randomize option to visualize motion with multiple DoF combination. ( Select "randomize checkbox" to switch random or manual control mode. )
