住酒店 ≠ Live in hotel
首先，大家看一下Live的英文解释：To have a home in a specified place. 也就是定居在某地，这个地方常常是一个人的家庭住址或者定居的城市。因而 Live in hotel 的含义是长期住酒店，只住几天不可以说 Live in hotel.正确的说法应该是：Stay at a hotel 在酒店暂住。

例句：

I will stay at the Hilton hotel during my trip.

旅行期间我会住希尔顿酒店。
住外面 ≠ Live outside
首先，我们所说的住在外面的意思，就是没和父母住一起，强调的是我自己住，所以住外面可以说：I live by myself 或 I live on my own。如果你对老外说 I live outside，对方大概会误以为你住在野外，会觉得你是个露营爱好者。

例句：

I live by myself and the rent really kills me!

我来找朋友 ≠ Find someone
