Fastboot

Fastboot is part of the Android bootloader as well as a program you can run on a computer to communicate with it.

Fastboot is three different things with the same name:

1. A protocol for communication between your phone hardware and a computer,
2. software that runs on the phone when in fastboot mode,
3. and the executable file on the computer you use to make them talk to each other.

 

Fastboot Mode

It is a mode that loads independent of the operating system and allows you to flash various files on your device. It even loads when your device does not have an operating system installed on it.

When you have rebooted your device into the fastboot mode, you can use the fastboot command on your computer to execute operations on your device. All of the commands issued from your computer are run on the device using fastboot to do variou
