Today I will join into the Department No. 2. We will develop projects for Solaris with Oracle. I tried
connect to the Solaris station. However, that operating system seem not to be easy to use. When I pressed
TAB key at console, it can not help me complete a whole command name.
There is only vi editor in the station. The vi is not easy to use for me. But I have no choice.
I wrote a hello.c, and wanted to compile it with gcc. Sorry, there is not gcc. I have to type cc instead gcc.
I don't know which C compiler is here.
The whole system directory architecture is different from Linux, or other Unix. Finally, I found the 'man'
command exists but I almost can not use it because there is not manual pages.
Here I have to learn C shell. Yes, I have no choice. The knowledge of C shell I learned almost all be lost
by me.
#!/bin/csh -f
set i=3
while (1)
@ i = $i + 1
echo $i
date
sleep 5
end
