What is AAR Format

The 'aar' bundle is the binary distribution of an Android Library Project. The AAR file consists of a JAR file and some resource files. 

We can find '.aar' file when we use extras jar file. For example, leanback project needs three libraries like v17 leanback support library/v7 recyclerview support library/v4 support library.

how can we get jar file from .aar file?

• Extract the AAR file using standard zip extract
• Find the classes.jar file in the extracted files
• Rename it to your liking and use the wanted jar file in your project
