How to debug Ping PC from SW failed

1.      How to debug Ping PC from SWfailed ?

PC      ------------ SWITCH

                        G1/1

1)      judge ingress and egress packetscounter whether it is ok;

a)        Show int g1/1 read receive andsend packet;

b)        Capture packet in PC;

2)      lookup arp learning:

a)        arp in kernel; arp learning ok,check FDB entry;

b)        arp –a in PC;

3)      arp is leaning ok, please checkICMP ping packets. ICMP is uncast packet. Lookup fdb entry according todst-mac; if no fdb entry, will broadcase this packet in reserved vlan, but willnot send it to CPU;

a)        show switch if 63 can see thewan interface --- reserved vlan fdb entry;

4)      if port is send to CPU: you cando following check:

a)        _ff etype 0806(ARP) src-macPC-MAC;
