A more significant proportion(47%) of residents in Melbourne choose to buy instant coffee compared to the percentage of those in Sydney showing a similar preference (45%). By contrast, those who preferred to buy fresh coffee constituted a slightly larger part of Sydney’s residents (44%) than the percentage in Melbourne (42%).

A cafe remain the people’s priority for cafe or tea in the remaining three cities, with the exception of Adelaide, where people showed marginally more interest in buying instant coffee (50%) rather than going to a cafe (49%). In Brisbane and Adelaide, the percentage of residents who were inclined to buy fresh coffee were almost equivalent, both under 35%, 3% lower than a similarly Hobart. People in the three cities who favor instant coffee occupied at least half of the whole population, with the respective figures being 53% (Brisbane), 50% (Adelaide), and 63% (Hobart).
