SCI论文审稿的13种状态

1. Submitted to journal (稿件提交)

代表文章提交成功。在这一阶段，需要作者确认自己所提交的文件是否符合期刊的投稿要求，包括格式、内容、摘要、参考文献等，同时也要留意期刊的审核时间和流程。

2. Manuscript received by Editorial office (收到稿件)

此时你的文章已经到编辑部了，表明文章投稿成功。

3. Submission incomplete (稿件退回给作者)

如果在审核过程中发现论文存在格式错误、缺失部分内容等问题，期刊可能会将稿件退回给作者，此时作者需要在规定的时间内进行修改完善，并重新提交。

4. with editor (稿件被分配)

如果在投稿的时候没有要求选择编辑，就会先到主编那里，然后主编会分派给别的编辑。

这当中就会有另两个状态:

① Editor assigned 编辑指派

② Editor Declined Invitation一该编辑最初接手了你的论文，并发送了审稿邀请。但之后，由于一些特殊情况，他选择了拒绝邀请。之后会再给你的论文指派一位新编辑，由新的编辑来跟进审稿进度。

5. Reviewer(s) invited (已邀请审阅者)

该过程有时候会持续很长时间，如果其中原因是编辑一直没有找到合适的审稿人，这时投稿者可以向编辑推荐审稿人。

6. Under review (审稿人正在审稿)

这大概率需要一个漫长的等待(期刊通常会限定审稿人审稿时间，一般为一个月左右)。当然前面各步骤也可能很慢的，要看编辑的处理情况。如果被邀请审稿人不想审，就会decline，编辑会重新邀请别的审稿人。

7. required reviewers completed (审稿结束)

表示已经有足够多的审稿人意见完成，并已经返回给编辑

8. Decision in Process (等待稿件处理意见)

到这一步，编辑开始考虑是给修改还是直接拒，也有可能直接接受，但可能性很小。

9. Minor revision / Major revision (小修/大修）

这个时候可以稍微庆祝一下了，因为有修改就有可能。

修改后一般会再发给审稿人看，所以一定要细心的回答每一个审稿人的每一个问题，态度要谦逊，要让审稿人觉得他提的每个问题都很有水准的，然后针对他的问题，一个一个的做出答复，能修改的修改，不能修改的给出理由，而且都要列出来，文章的哪一段哪一行修改了最好都说出来!

10. Revision Submitted (返修)

当作者完成稿件的修改后，需要在规定的时间内重新提交给期刊方受理。

11. Revision Submitted to journal (反复循环)

返修的稿件将再次进入新一轮的审稿程序。整个流程可能多次反复循环，直到最后一轮出具审稿结果。

12. Accepted (接受/录用)

如果稿件最终被期刊接受，作者将会收到来自期刊的最后确认通知，并根据期刊的要求完成后续处理工作，例如交纳版面费、修改文章等。

13. Reject (拒稿)

看到这个也不要太灰心，耐心把评审意见看完，一般评审者会给出有益的建议。

如何避免“一催就拒稿”

1、状态 With Editor 时间过长

如果With Editor状态已持续一两个月，您可以通过电子邮件给期刊以询问进度。编辑们不认为你给他施加压力。大多数编辑都能理解研究作者的焦虑，但在写电子邮件时，你应该注意礼仪和语气的委婉说法。

Dear Mr /Ms XXX [Editors Name]

I have submitted my revised manuscript titled XXX manuscript id: xxxx to your journal via the online submission system on dd/mm/yyyy (date of submission). Two days later, the status changed to with editor. However, the status has remained unchanged ever since. I would be grateful if you could let me know whether there has been any further progress on my submission.

2、状态 Under Review 时间过长

此时，您的稿件已进入同行评审。根据研究领域，同行评审的时间会有所不同。有些人会在1个月内回复，有些人会等待8个月。许多期刊提到了网站上的估计审核时间。例如，Elsevier声称其大多数期刊将在4个月内通知作者结果。换句话说，您可以向编辑发送电子邮件询问，在您等待超过4个月时。

3、状态 Minor Revision 之后

期刊为Minor Revision提供了文章核心内容的描述，编辑和审稿人对您的稿件持积极态度。小修通常是与语言或排版有关的问题，例如下面模板中列出的问题。审稿人对您的稿件有其他评论，您也可以这样回复。

Thank you for considering my article for publication in XXX [Journal Name].

I am grateful to you and the reviewers for the valuable suggestions provided. Here are responses to the reviewer comments.

Comment 1: Language editing for the manuscript has been done. I have used the services of a professional editing company for the same.

formatting have been incorporated.

Comment 2: Use a 1"margin on all sides: Done

4、向期刊提出撤稿申请

首先，很明显，此处的Withdraw指的是作者自己试图在该期刊发表或在线之前发布后撤回该稿。它与期刊本身发现问题后的撤回不同。研究作者可能会发现论文中的发现或数据存在问题，并将草案提交给期刊。更大的可能性是期刊评论速度太慢，并且当他想要切换到其他期刊时，作者将要求撤回稿件。同样，撤回电子邮件的语气应该尽可能的委婉。
