Look at the picture on the wall.
看看墙上的照片。

There is a bee on the ceiling.

• on the ceiling 作地点状语；

---

3.1> over the table

Spread the cloth over the table.
把布铺在桌子上。

3.2> above the clouds

Our plane is flying above the clouds.
我们的飞机飞行在云层上。

The sun is shinning over my head.
The sun is shinning above my head.
太阳在我的头顶上照耀。

• over： 正上方；
  above：相对的上方，并且位置较高；

• below 相对下方；

Our train is runnig through the tunnel.
我们的火车正在穿过隧道。

• run

Hundreds of people come from the city to see our town and to walk through the woods.
许许多多人从城里来观赏我们的小镇，并在林中散步。

• 介词 through， 穿过，强调“纵向”；

---

6.1> into the sea

The man jumped into the sea.
这名男子跳进了海里。

她下车了。

• out 是副词；
• get in a taxi -> get out of a taxi;
  get on a bus -> get off a bus;
• get on and off a bus;
  上下公交车；

---

7.1> from here to Taipei

How far is it from here to Taipei?
从这里到台北有多远？

• to 常用在go， come ，move之后，表方向或到达某地；

7.2> toward the boy

The dog is comming toward the boy.
那只狗朝男孩走去;

• toward: “朝，向”， 只说明运动方向，灭有“到达”意思

7.3> for Taiwan

Pelosi will leave American for Taiwan tomorrow.
Pelosi 明天将离开美国去台湾。

• for : 常用在leave 和start 后，表运动的方向和目的；

---

8.1> went up the hill

We went up the hill.
我们爬上山。

8.2> went up the hill

They ran down the stairs.
她们跑下楼梯。

• jump up and down : 上上下下的跳；
• ups and downs ： 起落，兴衰； // 介词转品为名词；

---

Our school is by the river.

• 表地点 介词+the + 地点；
  或 所有格+地名；

每个人都想坐在Curry旁边。

• Curyy 人名，不加 the；

He hurried past me without stopping.
他匆忙从我身边走过，没有停下来。

• 介词后面跟名词，或名词相等语；
