Increase your Google Colab RAM to 25GB

Due to Covid-19, I can not go back to school. How I miss my beautiful campus. This week, I have to use Google collab to run my project. However, for normal customers, Google collab only provides 12GB which is not enough for most of our projects. Then, can we increase the memory of the RAM?

I will show you the way to do it!
Let’s get started!

Before when your RAM got crashed, they will ask you if you want to change to a higher RAM? If you choose ‘YES’, then you can use 25 GB. But after they changed their policy, the only way is to make a copy of the earlier notebook which was allocated 25 GB RAM.

Just make a copy of this file to your google drive. and then you can see 25GB.

But if you open a new collab file in your google drive, it is still 12GB. So you have to write or move your codes to this file. Then you can run your file by using 25GB.
