Compile and install the latest version of kernel on Fedora

1.Download the latest version of the kernel from http://kernel.org
　　command:　　wget http://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/v2.6/linux-2.6.38.1.tar.bz2

2.Uncompress the kernel package.
　　command:　　tar jxvf linux-2.6.38.1.tar.bz2

3.Switch into work folder.
　　command　　cd linux-2.6.38.1

4.Switch to root user.
　　command　　su -

5.Config the kernel.
　　command　　make menuconfig

6.Compile core and modules.
　　command　　make && make modules

7.Install core and modules.
　　command　　make modules_install && make install

8.reboot your computer and choose the latest kernel linux-2.6.38.1 to test whether it is work
properly or not.
