1.Modify /etc/default/grub. Add "text' at GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT as following
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash text"
2.run update-grub
>sudo update-grub
3.reboot
Then you could get the text mode boot.
To start window, run startx after login.
>startx
To disable ACPI, modify /boot/grub/grub.cfg. Add "acpi=off" in the boot command line as following
