• Bogs didn’t put anything in Andy’s mouth. And neither did his friends. What they did do is beat him within an inch of his life.（垂死边缘）

• Andy spent a month in infirmary. Bogs spent a week in hole.

• Return to your cellblocks for evening count. All prisoners report for lock down.

• Where’s he going? Grab his ankles.

• Two things never happened again after that. The Sisters never laid a finger on（碰过他一根手指） Andy again. And Bogs would never walk again.

• • They transferred him to（把他送到） a minimum-security hospital upstate. To my knowledge（据我所知）, he lived out the rest of his days drinking his food through a straw.（吸管）

• I think Andy could use a nice welcome back when he gets out of the infirmary.

• The man likes to play chess. Let’s get him some rocks.

• Despite a few hitches(小插曲), the boys came through（完成） in fine style.

• And by the weekend he was due（到期） back, we had enough rocks saved up（积攒） to keep him busy till Rapture.

• Also got a big shipment in that week. Cigarettes… chewing gum(口香糖)… sipping whisky… playing cards with naked ladies on them. You name it（应有尽有）. And of course, the most important item: Rita Hayworth herself.
