Hi,
I have tried to create a VM instance using eucalyptus certified images.Instances are running successfully and when i try to ssh to the ip address it asks a password for the root user.
Is there any default password for the images?
i tried eucalyptus certified images of ubuntu, cent os and debian but the problem persistents.
thanks in advance

Hi
I changed the file's access permissions manually no everything works fine.
Just gave the root user Read and write access and for others set it to None.
thanks

First delete all the available keypairs, and then add a new keypair run the instance with this newly created key and try to ssh with this key.
Just right click the file and change its permissions

This happens as permission to the key is too open.
So use
chroot 700 keyname.
Thanks & regards

Dear Ruban,
you didnt mention clearly about how and where you have created the key pair. The problem is absolutely because of key-pairs, even i had got that problem. I hope the following instructions will help to solve your problem.
Lets take a scenario:
I have node: node1, source the eucarc and then create a key pair on that node (euca-create-keypair mykey > mykey.key), run the instance from the node with the new key mykey, connect to the instance with ssh -i mykey, key ip-address-of-the-instance.
I hope this works :)

I deleted all the keypairs and created new one and ran the instance with the new keypair generated and when i tried to ssh into the VM instance i am getting the following things..
[root@localhost Desktop]# ssh -i newkey.private root@10.5.10.103
The authenticity of host '10.5.10.103 (10.5.10.103)' can't be established.

Are you sure you want to continue connecting (yes/no)? yes
