How to configure Gmail as the SMTP server

If you are using Gmail as your e-mail and you don’t have your own SMTP server, you can take advantage of using Gmail as your SMTP server in Kentico.

As first, take note, that your user name must be typed in the FULL format:  username@gmail.com and also don't forget to enable SSL.

Unfortunately Gmail doesn't use standard SMTP ports (probably their security policy), so you have to add the port number into the SMTP server address field.  With SSL enabled it would be:
 smtp.gmail.com:465
