get back onto the domain issue

If you've removed the laptop from the domain entirely, the only way to get it back onto the domain is to take it onto your work network, plug it in, and then you'll need admin rights to get it back onto the domain.

Best case scenario, you're a local admin, and you can VPN into work instead of having to take it back to your IT dept.

Edit: Even if you are a local-admin to the laptop, if your work runs reasonably good Group Policies, you may need to be a member of a certain Security Group to get it back into the AD.

Like someone else said, take it to the IT Dept, apologise or risk getting into more trouble ..
