cldc 1.0导致的问题。
首先发下6260配置:
Nokia 6260 176×208 Symbian OS v7.0s S60 2nd Edition, Feature Pack 1 CLDC 1.0,MIDP 2.0
其次,同样代码在N70上完全没问题,通过检测,问题出现在realize时,且6260返回错误如下:
Exception.getMessage()为:
Symbian OS error:-1
Exception..toString()为:
javax.microedition.media.MediaException:Symbian OS error:-1

Hi,
I'm trying to write a J2ME app that can capture snapshots using the phone's camera. When I try my application on a 6600 it works, but the line:
Player p = Manager.createPlayer("capture://video");
throws a MediaException, with error message "Symbian OS error: -1" (Error -1 is KErrNotFound) on my 6260.
Is camera capture supposed to be supported on the 6260? And if it is, does anyone know why it might not be working for me? (Do I have to upgrade my firmware? How do I check this?)
Thanks,
David

Has anybody else managed to capture a video snapshot on a 6260?

Hi,
I'm getting the same error.
The 6260 has Series60 platform and implements the MMAPI, so you'd expect that getting snapshots should work.
Indeed,
Manager.createPlayer("capture://video");
gives error: -1.
And, same problem here, on a 6600 (firmware 3.42.1 and 5.27.0) the application works, but on a 6260 (firmware 3.0436.0) it doesn't.
Did you find out anything new on this matter?

Because the 6260 is running CLDC 1.0, I do not believe it will support capture://video. From what I understand you need CLDC 1.1

I gave up. I guess I'll wait for a firmware version which has this bug fixed.
Nokia,... why do you give us so much frustration.
So, 6260, nice, but no-go.
Back to the 6600. Hmm, also a no-go. Creating snapshots with a bit of quality must be done with a resolution lower than 176x132. (O man, that's way too small for a photo)
Well, let's try the 7610 then. Erm, no good, it has buggy software, my midlet will crash at random.
6230? No sir, access to camera won't work.
What will work?...
