Made of cloth with a synthetic rubber adhesive, a touch of custom colors and of fluorescent types and a matte finish, it ensures that there is complete camouflage and a large depletion of equipment is achieved on show staging. It is also used in the lighting department of film and show production.

Unlike the duct tape which breaks easily and leaves residue behind after usage,the Gaffer tape is not only waterproof but is also invisibly integrated in the stage background. This is simply because it is entirely made of cotton and can also be evenly broken by bare hands without the usage of cutting tools, which is certainly not the case with the duct tape.

The most basic model of this tape is the two-inch wide roll that can be fragmented into pieces as large as an inch.
