AndEngine:Super fast emulator

Most of us, use real device to test our projects, but there is also group of people which are forced to use emulator. I assume everyone knows pain of using android sdk emulator. Why?Its so damn slow. There are some ways to improve performance, and frame rate, but today I will introduce much easier way, also more greater.

BlueStacks Android app player (PC Emulator) - its super fast, lets you to download and use any application from Google play store, which means you can use it to test your own apps. On my Intel i7 processor laptop, I have 60 FPS mostly in any game - which makes creating promo videos so simple! Advantages:

• High permanence, almost constant 60 fps rate.

• you can use it combined with eclipse!

2. Combining eclipse and BlueStacks app player:

• Download and install BlueStacks app player: Click to download.
• After installing, you can download your app straight from Google Play Store using following emulator, or install it straight from eclipse (like would you use normal emulator) To do it, simply run your project like you always do in eclipse.
• popup should appear, with selection screen, there should be possibility to select emulator, click it.

• your app should be installed in a seconds, even much quicker than on real device (obvious, transferring between USB is slower)
• In the bottom right corner, little popup should appear, saying that you app has been installed, click it, emulator should appear, playing your game.

Enjoy your super quick emulator! Now you can also easily record high quality promo videos (for this purpose you need 3rd party software to record your desktop, like Camtasia)
